CHAMPAGNE SABER

Swush..

Champagne Saber

A modern tribute to the saber, merging the blade, grip and guard into one seamless part of stainless steel. The molded handle and the thick massive blade give you a perfectly balanced saber, and with a weight of 20 ounces/550 grams you don't need to apply much force in your swing to open the bottle.

The modern saber every champagne bottleneck should fear.

Sabrage is a technique to open a champagne bottle with a saber. Follow the bottle molding line. Let the saber slide along the body of the bottle to break away the top of the neck, leaving the neck of the bottle open and ready for pouring. The force of the blade hits the lip breaking the glass to separate the collar from the neck of the bottle.

The saber does not have to be sharp. The cork and collar stays together after separation from the neck.

Attention: This is a kitchen tool and not a weapon. The blade is dull.

Be aware of flying sharp glass. Make sure no person or animal stands close by when used. The bottleneck will be sharp after opening and could be harmfull. Always find and remove the bottle top after opening.

Note: If displayed on a wall, local law may require a special permit.

Made of molded and forged mirror finished stainless steel.
